This innovative compound, recognized for its novel mitochondria-targeted properties, represents a potential therapeutic avenue for AD treatment [13]. The strategic DSPE-PEG-TPP coating layer serves as an essential interface, facilitating the attachment of MoS2 QDs to the mitochondria of microglia cells within brain tissues. Our present investigation builds upon this paradigm, delving into the intricate role of MoS2 coated with DSPE-PEG-TPP in safeguarding the protein secondary structure within brain tissues. Moreover, a comprehensive exploration of the impact of DSPE-PEG-TPP-MoS2 QDs treatment on a spectrum of biomarkers has been meticulously undertaken. Further elucidation of the methodology, detailed results, and an in-depth analysis can be found in subsequent sections, offering a comprehensive understanding of our study. This study sheds light on the role of MoS2 QD in the protection of the protein secondary structure of the brain tissues against AD etiology.
